Picking up survivors

"Filipinos assist American motor torpedo boats (PT boats) in picking up survivors after Japanese warships were destroyed by forces of the US seventh fleet in the Battle of Surigao Strait. Note the 22.4 inch Mark 13 torpedoes on the torpedo boat. Also visible are twin .50 Browning machine guns and a 40 mm Bofors AA gun. A depth charge rests on the stern."
